Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery, who has been her boyfriend for a year, are celebrating their very first anniversary together.

In order to commemorate the momentous milestone that occurred on Wednesday, April 24, the two former Iowa basketball players each paid respect to the event via social media.

“An entire year filled with unforgettable memories with my favorite person 🙤 you make every day more enjoyable, and I am eagerly anticipating many more adventures together,” The recently recruited WNBA athlete, who is 22 years old, captioned her Instagram image with the words “love you 🤞🏻😭.”

One of the photos that Clark uploaded was a black-and-white picture of her and McCaffery, who is 25 years old, smiling while sitting on a couch together. In the adorable photograph, she is seen leaning on him as he is encircling her with his arms.

The last year has been the finest 🫶🏼 of my life. It has been a pleasure to share life with you, and you never fail to surprise me. The former Iowa college basketball star expressed his excitement by writing, “I can’t wait to witness you live out your dreams in person. I love you so much. ❤️” as the caption for his carousel.

The post that McCaffrey made started with a black-and-white photograph of the pair together, much like the one that his girlfriend had posted. However, it was a photograph taken in a casual manner.

For the purpose of taking the adorable photograph, Clark and McCaffery chuckled as they gazed into one other’s eyes. There was a video of Clark playing basketball on the court that was the second slide.

The man who is in love with Clark has not been shy in expressing his support for her future profession.

McCaffery continued to maintain his support for Clark even after the Iowa Hawkeyes were defeated by South Carolina in the NCAA Championship game at the beginning of April.

In his Instagram Stories, he referred to himself as “My GOAT.” A picture of Clark walking off the floor for the last time as a collegiate player was included in the post that he made.

Clark finished the game with a game-high 30 points, including 18 in the first quarter, despite the fact that her team did not win the championship. The young woman, who was 22 years old at the time, concluded her career with 3,951 points and went 5-13 from beyond the arc.

A little over a week later, the Indiana Fever selected Clark with the first overall choice in the 2024 Women’s National Basketball Association draft, which took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Her brothers Colin and Blake, as well as her parents Brent and Anne Nizzi-Clark, were present for the event. Additionally, McCaffery made certain that he did not miss the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Clark and McCaffery are now back together in Indiana. While she is beginning her career in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) with the Fever, he is working as a team assistant for the men’s team, the Pacers.

According to a press release issued by ESPN, the 2024 Women’s National Basketball Association draft attracted a record 2.45 million viewers, making it the most watched draft in the history of the women’s National Basketball Association.

The Connecticut Sun will be the opponent for Clark’s debut game with the Fever, which is slated to take place on May 14.
