When I was a kid, I remember the thrill of attending dancing classes when I was younger. While I was basking in the glory of self-satisfaction after a recital that I would never forget, I was persuaded that I had given an outstanding performance. I had no idea that a discovery that would humble me was waiting for me that day. The attention turned to the “teachers showcase” immediately after our performance, and it was during this time that I became aware that my dance abilities had space for development.

Boogie-woogie is one of my all-time favorite dance styles, and now I’d like to share with you a video that is really engaging and features this type of dancing. A festival called “A Taste of Boogie 2.0” was held in Padova (Padua), Italy, and this explosive performance was one of the highlights of the event.

A dancing style that is known for its exuberance and livelyness, boogie-woogie can be traced back to the United States of America in the 1920s. According to some accounts, this musical style originated among African-American communities, particularly in the central region of the Mississippi Delta. Its development was significantly impacted by the rhythms of blues, jazz, and ragtime music, among other musical genres.

During this dazzling demonstration of brilliance, dancers Agneiszka Cherubisnka, Grzegorz Cherubinski, Tanya Geogiievska, and Sondre Olsen Bye clearly highlight the reasons why they are highly regarded as teachers. With their incredible swing movements, these four dancers captivate the audience with their rendition of the timeless classic “Deep Sea Ball” by Clyde McPhatter, which was composed in the 1950s. Be ready to be captivated by the performance that they will provide. It is inevitable that you will fall in love with it. Make sure you view the whole video that is provided below, and then leave a comment on our Facebook page to let us know what you think!
