The information that Christina Applegate is disclosing about her fight against multiple sclerosis are upsetting and distressing. Several weeks after discussing her struggle with Dax Shepard, Applegate disclosed on her own podcast that she is now experiencing a relapse due to her addiction.

She added, “I’m going to have to go in [to the doctor] and see someone because it’s a little scary and it’s freaking me out that, like, my eye is, like, gonna burst out of my face or something.” She was referring to the discomfort that she was experiencing. That is something that gives me some cause for worry. The condition of my legs has never been this severe before, therefore I have no idea what is going on. As if there were no energy. It’s simply that the legs are finished.”

Applegate continued by saying, “Cannot get circulation.” I have no success in getting them to quit aching. Applegate then goes on to acknowledge that as a consequence of this, she has developed a depressive state.

“All you do is sit in a dark room watching television and wishing that everything would simply disappear. According to her admission, “And that’s kind of where I’m at.”

There have been three years since Applegate made public her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis, which she disclosed to the world in the year 2021. Following the announcement of her diagnosis, Applegate has made a number of public appearances, during which she has disclosed that she now walks with the use of a cane.

As a guest on the podcast Armchair Expert hosted by Dax Shepard, Christina Applegate described the suffering that she is experiencing as a result of her ongoing struggle with multiple sclerosis (MS).

As of right now, Applegate has disclosed that she has thirty lesions on her brain. She went on to say that the biggest of the legions is located immediately below her right eye position.

Shepard was informed by Applegate that the legion is giving her an excruciating amount of emotional distress. This is without a doubt the most worst thing that has ever occurred to me in my whole life. It is something that I despise so much, and I am so angry about it,” Applegate said.

According to Applegate, the agony is excessive to the point that “you can’t overcome it.” But she does it for her daughter, who is thirteen years old and whom she refers to as the reason she gets out of bed in the morning. “She is my go-to sleep with hope that I get up in the morning,” I can say with certainty.

That is not the only thing she is dealing with at the moment. Despite the fact that she is relieved that the legion has not yet had an effect on her vision, Applegate disclosed that her hand also “starts to go weird and then I’ll get a seizure-y feeling sometimes in my brain.”

Having multiple sclerosis, Applegate says, “This one,” and he means it. Life is like this. Surgical intervention is not an option. After you have finished your chemotherapy, there is no need to ring the bell. Throughout the rest of your life, you will have to deal with this.

The actress describes multiple sclerosis as a “disease of progression and you just progressively get worse.” This is despite the fact that Applegate continues to hold out hope that a solution will be discovered during her lifetime. One of her nicknames for MS is “worst tattoo.”

Christina Applegate has said that she would want to be more open about living with multiple sclerosis, despite the fact that she has been going through a very difficult struggle. According to what Applegate shared with Dax, she is sorry that she fought breast cancer in secret back in 2008.

Applegate acknowledges that she did not intend to abandon performing while she was discussing her experience with multiple sclerosis and her choice to withdraw from the acting industry. “However, throughout the course of the last year, it has been great to just sleep. For the last fifty years—or whatever many years I’ve been doing this—I haven’t slept. My membership with SAG dates back to 1974.

On the other hand, Applegate claims that she would choose to continue working rather than pursuing MS if she had the opportunity to do so. Not being able to make a decision is something that bothers me. The whole cosmos despises me.
