This past week, Isabella Strahan turned to social media in order to provide an unexpected update on her ongoing fight against cancer.

According to the daughter of Michael Strahan, a former NFL player, who is now 19 years old, she shed “happy tears” as she revealed that she would now only have to endure four rounds of chemotherapy rather than the six rounds that were originally scheduled for her.

In January of 2024, Isabella made the announcement that she had been diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a kind of cancer that affects the base of her brain. This news was revealed during an interview that was broadcast on Good Morning America.

I’m in a rather good mood. At the time, Isabella remarked that it was not too awful.

In October of 2023, Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma after she had been suffering from headaches for a period of one month during her first year of college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

During the interview with Good Morning America, she said, “I didn’t notice anything was off until probably around October 1.” At that point, I discovered that I was experiencing headaches, nausea, and that I was unable to walk straight.

In the beginning, she claimed that she was experiencing vertigo; but, when she awoke one day in late October and started vomiting up blood, she realized that something was really wrong.

“I was thinking to myself, ‘Hm, this probably isn’t any good.'” Consequently, I sent a text message to [my sister], who subsequently informed the whole family.

Isabella’s journey to recovery has been a challenging one ever since she was given the diagnosis that she has been battling. However, the young lady offered a good update in her most recent video uploaded to YouTube, in which she disclosed that she will only be required to undergo four rounds of chemotherapy rather than going through six rounds.

“These are happy tears,” she stated in the video that was released on April 10th. “One should not even consider crying when it is happy tears,” the speaker said.

In March, Isabella completed the second round of chemotherapy, which means that she is now halfway through the treatment.

“I’ll be finished by the month of May. In addition, I may make an effort to have a summer in order to feel better,” she said. I was under the impression that I would be finished by the end of July, so I am overjoyed. It was expected of me to complete a total of six rounds. That being the case, I would be required to return to school without any more delay. I couldn’t be happier.
