According to Ron Goldman’s father, he is not thinking about O.J. Simpson today; rather, he is remembering his son and utilizing today to reflect on how long it has been since he has been gone.

In an interview with People on Thursday, which took place several hours after the news of Simpson’s passing was made public, Fred Goldman said that he is just thinking about the fact that Ron passed away over thirty years ago, and not about the fact that the guy who was found not guilty of his murder has now passed away.

Goldman said that he is concentrating on all of the physical and emotional suffering that he has endured in the years after the loss of his son. He also stated that the only thing that is really essential is to remember Ron and Nicole Brown Simpson today.

Naturally, O.J. was taken into custody by the authorities in 1994, and he was put on trial for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole and Ron, who was a friend of Nicole’s.

Throughout the course of the trial, Fred was a notable figure in the gallery, as he often showed up to see the proceedings of what was being referred to as “The Trial of the Century.”

At a later time, the Brown and Goldman families brought Simpson to civil court, where he was determined to be responsible for their losses and was compelled to pay millions of dollars in reparations to the families. This occurred despite the fact that Simpson had been found not guilty of the criminal accusations against him.

Fred informed reporters that they had finally achieved justice for Ron and Nicole when the judgment was announced, despite the fact that Simpson never paid the majority of the money that he owed to neither of their families.

This morning, O.J. Simpson’s family made the announcement of his passing via his Twitter account, and they requested privacy during this trying time. Friends had traveled into Las Vegas during the last week to say their goodbyes to O.J., according to sources who had intimate knowledge of the situation.

While there are organizations, such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame, that are recognizing Simpson’s accomplishments, it seems as if Fred is just thinking about his family, and he is putting memories of O.J. behind.
