After a rocky departure from “The Tonight Show” fourteen years ago, Conan O’Brien is looking forward to his return to the show. He told TMZ that there is no bad blood between them, and that he is thrilled to take the stage once more again.
We were able to get up with the comedian on Tuesday outside of the Whitby Hotel in New York City, just as he was on his way to shoot his ‘TS’ appearance at 30 Rock. During our conversation, he spoke with us how he was feeling in preparation for his highly awaited late-night homecoming.

As Conan puts it, he is thrilled to be in front of the camera once again in that setting. He has nothing but positive memories to recall from his time there, which is odd when one considers that he was terminated from his position at NBC in 2010 in a manner that was not very formal.
COB has said that the ‘Tonight Show’ had a significant role in his life. Additionally, he is a fan of Jimmy Fallon, which is why he is looking forward to the next guest slot, during which he will be promoting his new travelogue series.
When asked whether he took advantage of the chance, Conan responded with a resounding “hell yeah,” stating that he was in desperate need of the employment.
Remember that Conan gave up his lengthy role on ‘Late Night’ in 2009 in order to host the famous evening talk show on NBC. However, he was only on the job for seven months when the executives at the time fired him, which allowed Jay Leno to make his triumphant comeback in 2010. Following his departure, Conan established a new late-night program on TBS, which went on to air for a total of eleven seasons.
In addition, as you are probably aware, Jimmy took over as host of “The Tonight Show” in 2014, and he has been at the helm of the show ever since. The fact that Conan is making a comeback is a significant event, particularly when one considers the manner in which they treated him in the past.
However, in spite of all that has happened, the individual seemed to be in a good mood while he was chatting to us about it, and he even provided us with some insight into how he believes the current late-night men are doing.
To make a long story short, he feels that each and every one of them have a great deal of skill, and even if late-night talk shows are discontinued in the not too distant future, he is certain that they will all be able to recover and thrive.
