On Saturday, Peterson broke the devastating news to her coworkers that her son had passed away on Easter Sunday.
Grief has been expressed by Lauri Peterson. On Saturday, the television personality who had previously been on Real Housewives of Orange County said that her son, Joshua-Michael Phillip Waring, had passed away on Easter Sunday.

In order to show his respect for Joshua-Michael, Peterson posted a series of images on Instagram in the form of a vehicle. In addition, she included a long comment in which she recalled her son’s upbringing as being “filled with deep intellect” and as someone who enjoyed being physically active. Nobody was able to determine what caused the loss.

I am writing this article with a broken heart to inform you that my dear Josh departed this life on Easter Sunday. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The caption that Peterson wrote started with the phrase “No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such profound loss.” “Every single muscle in my body is in pain. Josh battled every single day for the most of his adult life, for his life, but the struggle was too hard for him to overcome since it occurred on Sunday.

Josh’s upbringing was full with profound intelligence, humor, pranks, sports, snow boarding, body boarding, mountain treks, reading, friends, and his passion for music, she said. “Josh’s childhood was filled with all of these things.” In spite of the challenges he faced as an adult, Josh never lost his sense of humor, never lost his optimism, never stopped being nice to other people, never stopped defending those who were unable to defend themselves, and never stopped loving his family so very much!

After that, Peterson expressed his gratitude to everyone who “tried to help Josh along the way.” She did not disclose the fact that he had a problem with drug misuse.

“Not everyone understands those suffering from substance abuse disorder, but I am forever grateful for your understanding and the impact you made on his life,” she said in the description of the photograph. “I also thank those who have supported me through this journey and offering kind words of encouragement by sharing their stories of living with substance abuse disorder and the many parents that have shared their stories over the years with me about the children they have sadly lost due to this illness.”

In part, she concluded her letter by saying, “Heaven has gained the coolest angel, and you have finally gained your freedom, sweet boy.” Mother, I will love you always and forever.

One of the major cast members in the first four seasons of the popular reality television series that was broadcast on Bravo, Peterson had an appearance in all eight of the series’ seasons. Her first child, Joshua-Michael, was born in 1988, and she and her husband, George Peterson, went on to have two daughters, Ashley and Sophie.
