During the month of August, the destructive effects of Hurricane Harvey were felt across Southern Texas, leaving damage in its path before it passed away. Considering that more than fifty lives were lost, hundreds of thousands of people were evacuated, and villages were destroyed, it is anticipated that the process of rebuilding would take years.
During this time of crisis, people from all walks of life came together to provide help. These individuals included not only regular residents but also volunteers, businesses, and organizations that are not-for-profit. Phe and Binh Nguyen, who reside in Port Arthur, Texas, was the owner of Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge, which was one of the establishments.

After being witnesses to the development of the calamity, the proprietors of the restaurant felt that they wanted to make a contribution to their community. Throughout the day and night, they devoted themselves to making meals at Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge with the intention of delivering delectable cuisine to those who had been affected by the storm. In the span of a single day, they were successful in producing thousands of food boxes.
Furthermore, the media did not give them the recognition that they deserved, despite the enormous efforts that they made. Because they were unfazed by the lack of recognition, the proprietors of the restaurant were not looking for acclaim.

Keith Nguyen, the son of Phe Nguyen, was of the opinion that his father and his working colleagues deserved recognition for the unselfish effort that they had done. In a post on Facebook, he detailed the tale of their efforts and urged others to show their support for these folks who are working hard or to promote the good things they have done on social media channels.
Over 444,000 people shared the post, and it had more than one million interactions. This demonstrates the amazing influence that the post had. Users have expressed their appreciation, with one user providing the following statement: “Words cannot describe our gratitude and thanks for your great deed.” All of us are in agreement!
