Before the girl’s mother comes out swinging, the guy, who the victims allege “stalked” the adolescent after she declined a date with him, can be seen seizing the girl; this occurs before her mother comes out swinging.

It was shown by this “Mama bear” in Queens that her brood is not to be trifled with.

5 feet 4 inches tall and 130 pounds After George Vassiliou seized Lex in the hallway in front of their apartment door, Adriana Alvarez allegedly engaged in a fierce confrontation with him. George Vassiliou, who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds, was the person who tried to take her daughter Lex.

You can see the beginning of the horrific attempt in the tape that Alvarez took in the ring, which she shared with a number of different publications, including NBC News (which can be seen below).

During the footage, a guy who was eventually identified as Vassiliou, 35, can be seen leaping out from behind Lex, 18, as she was returning home after walking the family dog. The evidence suggests that he was waiting for her on the landing that was located above the level of Alvarez’s apartment. He then grabbed her from behind and forced her to down the steps.

Following the hearing of her daughter’s cries, Alvarez rushes into the hallway and then pursues the two individuals down the stairs.

“I have never heard her scream in such a manner. According to Alvarez, who was recounting the event that occurred on January 23, she told NBC, “It’s my baby, you can’t take her.” “I remember being thrown onto the heater … he’s just pepper spraying me, he’s punching me.”

During an interview with the New York Post, Alvarez said that the altercation proceeded down four flights of stairs, with both women continually hitting and kicking Vassiliou. It is stated that he struck Alvarez in the face and also used pepper spray on the individuals in question. The courageous mother said that one of the neighbors rushed out to attack Vassiliou with a “stick” as she was attempting to force her daughter into the neighbor’s apartment. However, Vassiliou grabbed Alvarez by the hair and stomped on her back rather than allowing her to come inside.

Following Lex’s successful escape from Vassiliou, the mother and daughter combo made it outdoors and immediately started pleading for assistance. The suspected perpetrator of the assault was finally apprehended by a neighbor who was able to restrain him until the arrival of the police.

According to Alvarez, the event caused her to suffer from a fracture of the orbital eye, as well as dislocations of the shoulder and elbow, and nerve damage. “These are bandages she wears with pride for defending her cub,” says the text on a GoFundMe campaign that was created for the “Momma bear,” which was coordinated by her uncle.

The allegation made by Alvarez is that Lex and the suspect had previously worked together at a store.

“They were friendly, they spoke, and they were cordial,” she said in an interview with the Post. “But he got a little weird — where she would be bagging stuff, and he’d be staring at her.”

She said that he left his job not long after he had asked Lex out on a date and received a negative response. Alvarez claims that this is the time when he started “stalking” her, which ultimately resulted in her filing a restraining order against him after she claimed that he attempted to “grab her off the street” twice.

The individual under investigation was charged with a number of offenses, including attempted abduction, assault, illegal possession of noxious stuff, unlawful possession of weapons, harassment, and disobeying an order of protection. He entered a plea of not guilty to a variety of accusations, as reported by NBC.
