Daughter Zaya Wade is being prepared for the next chapter in her life by her parents, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union.
Zaya, who is 16 years old, was joined by the retired basketball player, who is 42 years old, and the actress, who is 51 years old, on a tour of the University of Washington in Seattle. Dwyane captured the visit with a romantic picture on Instagram.
Photos and videos that were posted by Dwyane revealed that the three individuals took a stroll about the college’s campus, taking in some of the flora, architecture, and study areas that the institution had to offer.
In one photograph, he and Zaya are shown smiling together beneath an umbrella, which is dyed in the University of Washington’s signature purple. In another one, the young man is seen striking a pose in the renowned Suzzallo Library of the campus.
In the videos that the pleased father released, he and Union can be seen smiling while a tour guide is speaking, and Zaya can be seen strolling with Union under some of the cherry trees that are in bloom and canopy the quad, which is located on the university.
“We’re in the College Visits season!!!” the former NBA player said in the description of the photo, unable to control his enthusiasm about the upcoming season.
In addition, Dwyane shared some other photographs on his Instagram Story. These photographs included a picture of the beautiful ceiling of the library as well as a photograph from Pike Place Market, which was another tourist destination that he visited in Seattle.
In whatever position that Zaya may end up applying for, the teen’s resume will be impressive. She is a model, an influencer, and an LGBTQ+ activist. In March of this year, she made her debut on the runway and featured on the cover of her first magazine.
Both Wade, who was certain to get the “first signed copy” of her DAZED issue, and Union, whom the NBA star married in 2014, are very supportive of her. Wade was the one who was guaranteed to receive the copy.
Dwyane Funches, who went on to have Zaya and her elder brother Zaire, who is 22 years old, with his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches, said in a recent interview with People that he is committed to demonstrating “unconditional love” to Zaya.
“I don’t want to just be one of those people who’s just been given to Zaya and she doesn’t feel open and confident in me,” he said in an interview with guys. “I want to demonstrate to her what we mean when we talk about unconditional love so that she can use me as a sounding board as she goes through life.”
“I feel like it’s shown in Zaya,” he continued, referring to the young lady who revealed her gender identity in the year 2020, when she was only 12 years old. This is shown in Zaya all over the globe as a result of the fact that she is a member of the transgender community.
In addition, Dwyane’s family consists of his son Xavier, who is ten years old and was born to him with Aja Metoyer, and his daughter Kaavia, who is five years old and was born to him with Union in the year 2018. Moreover, the former NBA player is the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris.
