In the near future, Chevy Chase will become a grandpa!
In an Instagram post that was published on Saturday, the character who played Christmas Vacation, who is now 80 years old, said that his daughter Emily Chase is expecting a child.
“I am so excited to become a grandfather!” In addition to a photograph of himself, his daughter, who is 36 years old, and her lover, Alex Baglieri, the comedian added the caption. ❤️ Congratulations to my daughter, @em_chases, and to my husband, @alex.baglieri.

The actor and comedian has always been open and honest about his support for his three children, whom he shares with his third and current wife, Jayni. This is despite the fact that the Chase family is discreet about many other aspects of their personal lives.
Following a relationship that lasted for close to two years, Chevy and Jayni finally married the wedding in June of 1982. Over the course of the decades that have passed since their wedding, the couple has been blessed with three daughters: Cydney, Caley, and Emily. Additionally, Jayni has played the role of stepmother to Bryan Perkins, Chevy’s son from a previous relationship.
Emily has not yet disclosed the information to her own friends and family, but around one week ago, she uploaded a picture on Instagram that showed her, her sisters, and her parents all beaming from ear to ear.
In an interview with Bedford & New Canaan Magazine earlier this month, Chevy, his wife, and all three of his girls discussed the challenges of being a parent and the significance of their family on their relationship with one another.
During the time when the couple was sharing photographs of their Bedford, Connecticut home, Jayni shared with the magazine, “We were married in 1982 at our house in Pacific Palisades.” The fact that Chevy was completely enamored with each of our children is evidence of the fact that he has been a very caring and dedicated parent.
She went on to say, “Chevy and I have had an incredible 44 years together.” While we have had a large number of exceptional friends and have had the opportunity to meet a large number of prominent individuals, the people who are most important to us are our three wonderful girls. And we hope that we have been able to have a constructive influence on the neighborhood as well as the planet, which is all around us.
Emily said in the magazine, “My dad is the most generous and loving person I know, and he is also the funniest person I know.” “He has a huge heart, and everything he does is for us, his daughters, and our mother, whom he has been completely infatuated with since 1980.
