The claim is thought to have originated from an insider at the Palace, who supposedly told the National Enquirer that the Princess of Wales has not yet made a definitive decision, but that the unrelenting strain of royal life has taken its toll on her.
Following her hiatus from the public eye in January due to a “planned abdominal procedure,” Kate’s return to royal life has been delayed once again as a consequence of this.
It is generally accepted that Kate’s health is considered to be in a precarious situation due to the amount of time it will take for her to recover from surgery (the Palace said early on that her return home would not occur before Easter).
This, in conjunction with the Royal Family’s typical non-disclosure of information, has led to a whirlwind of speculation, which the Palace has been working desperately to bring under control.
The first official photograph of Kate Middleton, which was supposed to be used to celebrate Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom, was removed from circulation by a number of news agencies over the weekend due to the widespread belief that the image had been “manipulated.” This action did nothing to aid their case.

“Kate’s desperate struggle with the constant pressures of life in the royal fishbowl has clearly taken a terrible toll on her physical and mental health,” a senior palace insider is reported as saying in the National Enquirer. “Kate’s life in the royal fishbowl has been a constant source of difficulty for her.”
The source continued by saying, “She spent weeks staying out of the public eye after her operations, and it has only strengthened her resolve to quit,” which is a statement that was made by the insider.
William is reportedly “beside himself” at the possibility of Kate leaving, as said by the same source.
According to the statement made by the individual, “William is by himself over her decision.” It’s hard for him to conceive that his wife would ever entertain the idea of moving.
