In addition, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, who are now commemorating their 40th anniversary as a band, have released the first song off their next album, which is titled “Legendary.”

Jon’s optimistic lilt can be heard in the upbeat hymn, which has him belting out the lyrics, “Got what I want ’cause I got what I need / I am perfectly content with my current situation since I have a large number of friends that are willing to defend me. When Friday night arrives, it’s like a song called “Sweet Caroline,” and we all try to sing along with it. I still have my girl with brown eyes, and she has faith in me. I am legendary.

Over the course of the song video, the Pay It Forward star can be seen playing with his bandmates in a field as the moon is shining over them.

Bon Jovi is also commemorating its 40th anniversary with the release of a documentary series called Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, which will be available on Hulu beginning on April 26. The documentary series will be the first of its kind to be centered on the history of Bon Jovi, and it will be produced in full collaboration with all of the band’s members, both past and present. Additionally, the program will provide insights into the band’s journey to popularity from behind the scenes.
