Prior to the release of his new album, Justin Timberlake had a performance in Los Angeles, and as luck would have it, the members of the boy band NSYNC joined him onstage to perform something that they had concocted in record time.
JT performed a one-night-only event at The Wiltern on Wednesday, where the singer was performing in order to promote his upcoming album, “Everything I Thought I Was,” which is scheduled to be released on Friday. Naturally, the individual wanted to create an impact, and he succeeded in doing so by reverting back to his previous identity as a member of a boy band.
During a key highlight of the night, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick participated in a surprise performance with Justin. During this performance, they performed several famous songs by the boy band NSYNC.
Naturally, they also sang their new song together, which was taken from Justin’s album titled “Paradise,” so the performance was a combination of old and new songs. In regards of how this came about, TMZ has been told by people with firsthand knowledge that JT phoned all of the men on Sunday to inquire as to whether or not they would be interested in it.
As it turned out, they were perfectly correct, and on Tuesday they proceeded to go through a few of rehearsals. They wanted to lean into the nostalgia, which they knew the audience would appreciate, so the DJ section of their small set was more or less done on the fly. They wanted for it to be as spontaneous as possible. In these video, you can see that they did in fact do it!
There is no denying that this is a very fantastic moment… and it certainly creates some hype for JT’s ‘EITIW.’
Despite the fact that some people would believe that these collaborations amongst NSYNC might be a hint that they will release more songs in the future, we have been hearing for some months now that this is not necessarily the case. Despite the fact that we are aware that everyone is interested in organizing a full-fledged reunion, we are unable to do so at this time.
