Although he is retired, Mark Coleman is not yet finished fighting. The legendary fighter from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was taken to a nearby hospital after receiving injuries while attempting to save his mother and father from a blazing home fire.

Coleman, who is 59 years old and was one of the original stars of the mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, defeated giants such as Stephan Bonnar, Don Frye, and Dan Severn. On Tuesday morning in Toledo, Ohio, Coleman played the role of a hero when his parents and dog Hammer were caught in a fire.

Mark was successful in rescuing his mother and father from the burning home and bringing them to a secure location before he went back to collect his dog. According to the head of the local fire department, the news that the dog did not survive is quite unfortunate.

As awful as it was, it might have been much worse… the chief informed reporters that the roof of the facility fell immediately after firemen entered the premises. This information was provided to reporters.

According to MC’s close friend Wes Sims, the UFC Hall of Famer was in such poor condition that he needed to be evacuated to a hospital. This was the case despite the fact that his mother, father, and Mark were able to escape the fight.

In addition, Sims said that Coleman was drugged and intubated, but he did not disclose any other information on his friend’s health.

It has not yet been determined what caused the fire.

It is quite evident that Mark and his mother, Connie, have a very strong connection. It was on Mother’s Day in 2022 that he shared a picture of himself with her, along with a heartfelt comment.

You are my favorite, and I want to thank you for all you’ve done. You give me motivation. I adore you quite a lot.

It was with this that Wes concluded his health update… Having gone through so much, a movie at this point would not be able to do justice to his life work. I swear to God that he is one of the most difficult people who have ever been made. Would you kindly 🙏 and share? Life is a Priceless Gift!
