The charges of negligence that have been made against “Good Times” actor John Amos are now being investigated by law enforcement, and the probe has only begun… As TMZ has discovered.
It has been brought to our attention by law enforcement sources that a case has been started in Los Angeles to investigate allegations made by Shannon, Amos’ daughter. According to our sources, Shannon recently phoned Adult Protective Services to make the claim that her father was struggling with health concerns, and that her brother, K.C., was not providing him with the appropriate care.
According to our sources, the APS took a report based on what she stated and then forwarded the information to the Los Angeles Police Department, which then began an inquiry into the matter.
According to what we have been informed, law enforcement is aware of all the complaints that have been made between Shannon and K.C., and a significant portion of the animosity that exists amongst John’s children has been publicly known. However, the inquiry will concentrate on these latest allegations in particular.
Additionally, there is this new development… It was reported to TMZ that the well-known actor was admitted to the hospital not too long ago; however, we were informed that his visit was only for a normal examination and that there was nothing more severe wrong with him. We even had a short conversation with John over the phone, and he assured us that he was doing well.
It is not known if the police are aware of the hospital visit or whether it is connected to Shannon’s charges in any way; nonetheless, John and his representative have consistently rejected any form of neglect claims that have been related to the hospital visit.
