‘Vanderpump Rules’ alumni hitched the knot in 2019, marking the year of their wedding.

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are spending some time away from one another.

It was revealed to Entertainment Tonight on Thursday by a source that the former cast members of Vanderpump Rules are no longer married but are separated.

During the most recent episode of the When Reality Hits podcast that she and Jax host, Brittany also announced that they had ended their relationship. Brittany broke the news to the audience at the conclusion of the program.

“Jax and I are dealing through a lot of things right now… At the moment, we are going through some challenging parenting situations,” she reveals.

“We’re going to get into something serious really fast, because so many of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I, and our relationship and I just think it’s important to be real and honest with you guys, ’cause our life is definitely, we’ve shared so much of our life with you guys,” she started off. Consequently, I don’t want it to seem as if I’m lying or anything else of the kind, which is why I believe that it is essential for me to state this. “I am aware that in my most recent podcast, I made a passing reference to the fact that many marriages go through difficult times; therefore, with all of the speculation that is going on online and stories that are running rampant.”

To further elaborate, she says, “I wanted to be honest with you guys.” It is true that marriages, in general, are incredibly challenging, and I have had a very challenging year in my own marriage during the last year. For the benefit of my mental health, Jax and I are going to be spending some time apart, and I have made the choice to relocate to a different house in order to provide myself some space. Due to the fact that this is still a very difficult topic to discuss, I will refrain from going into too many specifics at this time. I am taking things one day at a time. For the time being, my primary concern is to be the greatest possible mother that I can be for Cruz. I have no idea what the future holds. Keep praying for us, and I promise that everything will turn out just great. I love you everyone.

In 2019, Brittany, who is 35 years old, and Jax, who is 44 years old, married the marriage. A baby boy called Cruz was born to the couple in April of 2021, marking the beginning of their first kid together.

ET conducted an interview with the two individuals in November, at the preview of their bar in Los Angeles, which was called Jax’s Studio City. at the interview, they discussed their new chapter and their decision to move away from the VPR moniker.

Brittany said, “Now that we are parents, our entire lives have been transformed.” We consider the birth of our kid to be the most wonderful event that has ever occurred to us. For the sake of our relationship, I believe that we needed that separation. I believe that Jax needed that break for it to be just for himself.

“My mental health, I needed it,” he said outright.

Adding, “You’ll see — maybe — see a different side,” Brittany said. “I don’t think people really thought Jax would ever be a dad, let alone married.”

It is scheduled that the most recent chapter in Jax and Brittany’s relationship will be featured during the inaugural season of the VPR spinoff, The Valley, which will air on Bravo on March 19.
