After filing for divorce for the fourth time since May of 2020, the pair has now finalized their divorce.
The divorce proceedings between Ray J and Princess Love are about to begin for the fourth time.
A message that Love posted on Instagram on Monday conveyed the news to her followers.
“Dear Friends and Family, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce,” said the first statement. We have arrived at the tough understanding that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways. This revelation came about as a result of a great deal of introspection, conversation, and therapy. This choice was taken with careful deliberation, mutual respect, and regard for each other’s well-being, and we want to reassure you that it was done with these qualities in mind. We continue to be dedicated to co-parenting our children and preserving a strong and supportive family dynamic, despite the fact that our relationship as spouses may be coming to an end.
The couple concluded their statement by expressing their gratitude to the general public for their support and “respect for our privacy,” as well as for the love and friendship they have received and received.
At the conclusion of their speech, Love and Ray J expressed their hope.
“Thought this chapter of our lives may be closing, we look forward to embracing the opportunities for growth, healing, and new beginnings that lie ahead,” the message said. “With the passage of time, the support of those we care about, and the understanding of those around us, we are certain that we will be able to negotiate this change with grace and fortitude. In documents that were submitted to the court on Monday, ET verified that Love had filed for divorce on February 26.
Ray J, who is 41 years old, and Love, who is 39 years old, married the marriage in the year 2016. Both Melody, who is five years old, and Epik, who is four years old, are the offspring of the couple.
Love first filed for divorce from the singer of “Gifts” in May of 2020, and then two months later, she tried to have the divorce dismissed. The decision to file for divorce was made by Ray J in September of 2020. Next, the two individuals made a motion to have that dismissed in February of 2021. In October of 2021, the singer of “Wait a Minute” filed for divorce from his wife for the second time. In March of 2023, he decided to end their romantic relationship.
ET had a conversation with the stars of Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood in June 2023. They were all present at the BET Awards together, and throughout the conversation, they discussed how they had resolved their marital issues and eliminated the possibility of divorce.
You know, love is a challenge. According to Love, who spoke to ET, “It’s never easy, but it always works out.” “And that’s what it’s supposed to be, right?”
Ray J continued by saying that the secret to rekindling their relationship was making sure that they were “best friends,” that they looked out for each other’s interests, and that they avoided letting other people into their “love bubble.”
