Miley Cyrus swiftly corrected Flavor Flav when he made the mistake of calling her Gwen Stefani. Flavor Flav received a fast smack to the face, although he claims that it was all in good fun.
A recent episode of “Just B with Bethenny Frankel” included the rapper from Public Enemy discussing the event. In the program, he disclosed that he had seen her some years ago, when she and Gwen seemed to have hairstyles that were similar to each other.
Flav said that he became quite thrilled to see Gwen and raced up to her, but instead of chatting to her, he found himself speaking to Miley by mistake.
He claims that MC played it really cool, just going along with it throughout the conversation as he praised her for all of GS’s efforts. This was an uncomfortable time for FF when his buddy subsequently revealed that Miley was the one who had been behind the conversation.
According to Flavor Flav, he walked straight up to Miley to apologize, adding that of course he knew both her and her father, Billy Ray, which is when he received the slap square across his face.
He claims that the incident did not result in any hostility; rather, he and Miley laughed about the situation, and the two even saw one other backstage at the Grammy Awards this year.
In spite of this, Miley was unable to refrain from giving Flav a little bit of a scolding for the previous false identification.
A video that was taken at their meeting and went viral showed the two of them embracing one other as Miley joked that he always used to call him Gwen. It is evident that this is still something that is ingrained in her head.
It is heartening to see that Flav and Miley have a positive relationship; nevertheless, in order to prevent any confusion in the future, he may want to remove his characteristic sunglasses.
