Shane Culkin, age 48, Macaulay Culkin, age 43, Christian Culkin, age 37, and Rory Culkin, age 34, will be providing their voices for an episode of their brother Kieran Culkin’s new animated series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, which will be available on Prime Video.
The most satisfying aspect is that they will be acting like brothers!
To put it simply, animated alien sisters.
This will be the first time that all five brothers have worked together on a project, and it will be a gloriously bizarre family reunion gathering.
In an exclusive footage that was released by Entertainment Weekly, the brothers are introduced to the audience for the first time.
It is at the beginning stages of their connection that the film depicts the empath Dr. Plowp, played by Kieran, interacting with his colleague Dr. Sleech, played by Stephanie Hsu. Due to the unexpected arrival of Plowp’s siblings, she makes an attempt to present Plowp with a present on the occasion of St. Cthonk’s Day. All of these siblings are maybe a bit too concerned in her emotional health.
As she walks into the room and notices that all five of them are gazing back at her, she wonders out loud, “Is this a sex dream or a sex nightmare?” they are all looking back at her.
“Why not both?” I hear back from Dr. Plowp. “These are my brothers.”
Poor Sleech, who is a witness to the brothers swapping saliva before leaving into a garbage chute, finds that all transpires to be a little too much for him to handle.
The appearance of more than one Culkin sibling on film alongside another is very uncommon. At the beginning of the 1990s, when Macaulay’s career was just beginning to take off, his siblings often performed with him. He was joined by Kieran in the Home Alone series, while Quinn and Rory had an appearance in the film The Good Son, which was released in 1993.
The younger versions of Rory’s elder siblings have also been portrayed by Rory. Macaulay in Richie Rich and Kieran in Igby Goes Down were both roles that he played. While all is going on, Christian’s first cinematic appearance was in the film My Summer Story, which was released in 1994 and starred Kieran.
