The actress and campaigner did not enjoy the fact that trolls left comments on the Instagram photos that her son, who was 12 years old, had made.
Following the criticism she received when she sought for assistance in raising funds for her son’s Little League trip to Cooperstown, New York, Alyssa Milano is now responding to the internet trolls who have been hammering the comments section of her son’s Instagram account following her request for assistance.
On Thursday, the star of Who’s the Boss? went to Instagram to reveal screenshots of the comments that cyberbullies had written on the postings that her son Milo, who is 12 years old, had made on Instagram. It is because Milano went on X a month ago and asked her followers for contributions to assist her son’s travel baseball club in raising $10,000 that she has been subjected to such a barrage of criticism. Milano was the one who established the GoFundMe effort, and despite the fact that the campaign has now surpassed its initial target, the actress has also been subjected to a great lot of criticism.
Because the criticism was so severe, the actress from Charmed felt obligated to confess in a tweet the following day that she has been “getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team.”
“I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues,” she said further. “The children also organize their own fundraising events, such as car washes, movie evenings, and a variety of other enjoyable activities! We are grateful to everyone who has given to the GoFundMe campaign. With your help, these young men and their families have been able to feel more at ease.

Milano, however, published a snapshot on Thursday that showed the remarks that internet haters had written on her son’s Instagram account. Because of this, she is all over the news today, according to the writing of one troll. Evidently, she has the financial means to have contributed $19,000 to your baseball club on her own. It would be ludicrous to ask those with middle-incomes to assist in this endeavor.
Milo’s response to the remark was, “I would appreciate it if you would leave my page.” I am just 12 years old.”
Milano noted that her GoFundMe campaign is no different from what any other parent does to assist their children and their children’s teams in reaching a fundraising goal. His explanation was included in the caption that she attached to the post that exposed the terrible remarks.
A significant number of parents use GoFundMe to collect funds for their children’s athletic teams. This is something that every parent does. Neither am I an exception. As much as I would want to pay for the whole team and their families to go, transportation, lodging, food and beverage, uniforms, trade pins, and everything else that teams do for this sort of trip, I am unable to do so due to financial constraints,” her comment stated. Perhaps at some point in the future. Additionally, if I were to pay for everyone, my trolls would find something else to be cruel about. On the other hand, regardless of how you feel about me, it is absolutely abhorrent to go on the Instagram page of my son, who is 12 years old and works very hard, and leave things like this. Give the children some space. Permit them to do some baseball. Do not make a donation if you are opposed to such a thing. If you would like to make a donation to assist the families of the team members, we would be grateful.
Even though Milano has been subjected to a significant amount of criticism, he has also been receiving support during this struggle. “Regardless of her net worth, she is teaching her children life skills such as hard work and responsibility,” commented one follower whose remark has received more than one thousand likes. People would be weeping because she is indulging her kid and not teaching him how to be independent if she paid for everything. Additionally, if she did pay for everything, then people cry.
The response of another individual said, “I beg you, as a mother, to not even bother explaining to anybody what you have chosen to do!! Excellent work in marketing the fundraising event!! They say, “You’re damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.”
