Adrienne Bailon-Houghton feels the need to keep her infant near to her.
The television celebrity mother, who is forty years old, discloses that she shares a bed with her son, Ever James, who is seventeen months old, in a video clip that was made available to PEOPLE exclusively after she is scheduled to appear on The Tamron Hall Show.
Hall plays a video that Bailon-Houghton posted on Instagram showing the renovation of her playroom, which was a Christmas present for her son.
According to her, “The reality is that we co-sleep, so we no longer call it his bedroom.” She is referring to the place in question.
“That bed is there for when my cousins come over and they have kids, and they sleep in that room,” she continues, laughing. “That room is where they sleep.” That young man is now occupying that bed with me. I’m not going to let him just leave.”
In a different part of the talk, Hall compliments Bailon-Houghton on the transparency with which she discusses her journey to becoming a mother.
Hall remarking, “That baby is so beautiful,” I followed the road of Ever, the happy ending that is Ever… the journey that you went through with in vitro fertilization, speaking out about surrogacy: I followed the journey of Ever. It has been a magnificent sight to see.”
“I am grateful to you. She adds, “It’s so strange because you get to this place, and it’s something you prayed for for such a long time.” “It’s something you didn’t expect to happen.”
“I swear that on a daily basis — and my sister says she feels this way too and a lot of other moms — you just stare at them and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe you’re real,'” the television personality exclaims.
She claims that she looks at her child “every day” and is amazed at how much he has grown. Bailon-Houghton is the mother of her son, who she shares with her husband, Israel Houghton.
“He’s now starting to talk so much more and his personality is coming out and it’s just … I will never stop reminding myself that this is the miracle I prayed for.”
