During the celebration of her renowned father’s birthday, the actress was there.
A nice flashback picture from a family trip when Lily Collins was a small kid is being used by Lily Collins to celebrate the 73rd birthday of her famous father.
Lily Collins, who is 34 years old, and her rock icon father, Phil Collins, are seen in the adorable photograph standing on skis at the base of a snowy hill while wearing puffy coats all over their bodies.
In the picture, both the father and the daughter are grinning brightly, and the message that Lily wrote that accompanied the picture was just as warm and fuzzy.
Happy birthday to you, dad! “You were always my ski wing man, whether it was on a snowy slope adventure or a clear day on Lake Geneva,” the Emily in Paris actress captioned the photo. “Love you from the bottom of my heart.”
“Love you to the top of the highest mountain and to the bottom of the deepest wave,” said Lily further. “Celebrating and hugging you from here BIG TIME…”
While everything was going on, a memorial was made on Phil’s official Instagram account celebrating the “One More Night” singer. The homage was accompanied with a retro headshot.
“Happy birthday to the man himself, Mr. Phil Collins, who turns 73 today,” according to the dedication.
Due to the fact that Phil has been dealing with a wide range of health problems over the last several years, he has been forced to perform while seated.
It was in March of 2022 that he gave his last live performance, during which he appeared with his fellow members of the Genesis band and said goodbye to the audience who had gathered at the O2 Arena in London to see his final performance with his legendary band members.
Back in 2021, Phil gave an interview to The Guardian in which he discussed the ways in which his health difficulties had an effect on the broadcasts.
“Of course, my health does change things, doing the show seated changes things,” added the comedian. However, I discovered that it did not hinder my performance on my most recent solo tours; the audience continued to listen and react to what I had to say. “It is not the way that I would have written it, but it is the way that it is.”
