The news that Jake T. Austin will be returning for the forthcoming series was released on Saturday. He will be joining David Henrie and Selena Gomez in their previous roles.
Henrie’s post, which was an announcement that their on-screen parents, David DeLuise (Jerry Russo) and Maria Canals-Barrera (Theresa Russo), would be returning to the series, was shared by Austin on his Instagram Story. Austin shared the message with his followers.
“Wow. ” He commented, “I am looking forward to getting together with my Wizards family after all this time.”
Max, the youngest of the Russo siblings, was portrayed by Austin, who also appeared with Henrie (Justin Russo) and Gomez (Alex Russo).
Together with Gomez, Henrie, who is also serving as an executive producer for the Disney series, made the announcement on Friday that their parents will be returning.
At the same time that he posted a picture of himself and Gomez smiling with DeLuis and Canals-Barrera, he commented, “The Russos ❤️🨄coming back #wizardsofwaverlyplace @wizardspod.”
