In the pods, the three stars of the third season of “Love Is Blind” fell in love with each other.
In a recent announcement, Alexa and Brennon Lemieux, who are both well-known for their roles in the third season of the hit Netflix program Love Is Blind, disclosed that they are expecting their first child.
A joint Instagram post was published on Friday by the pair, who had previously won over the hearts of fans with their rapid relationship and subsequent marriage on the reality program. The couple shared the happy news with their followers.
As the announcement was being made, a glowing Alexa was seen wearing white pajamas that elegantly displayed her growing baby bulge. Brennon was standing proudly alongside her, their hands touching on the side of her growing tummy.
In a another photograph, the pair can be seen holding up personalized newspapers that have humorously proclaimed, “Baby Lemieux Coming 2024” and “Lemieux: The Next Gen Coming to a Crib Near You Summer 2024.”
In a happy manner, they captioned the photo with the phrase “The best of me and the best of you, baby Lemieux coming soon 🤍,” followed by a succession of love emojis throughout the post.
During an interview with People that was published on the same day, the couple expressed their appreciation for the impending addition to their family. Alexa, who is 29 years old, expressed her happiness over her pregnancy experience by saying, “I just love looking in the mirror because I remember not being pregnant and looking in the mirror and [thinking], ‘Oh, I just can’t wait for something to be there.'” Now that there is, I am like, I really like it! I just place my hands on my tummy and touch it constantly. I do this the whole time. I am really addicted.”
All things considered, the path to becoming a parent was not devoid of obstacles. In November of 2023, after over a year and a half of attempting to conceive, the couple publicly disclosed that they had discovered that they were pregnant. Alexa said that she has undergone reproductive treatments and had periods of doubt on the likelihood of having children via her experiences.
When I was very worried about the possibility that we may never be able to have children, I was anxious. Furthermore, in my opinion, it deprives you of your femininity. That was the sensation that I had. And the sensation that I was completely broken,” she said.
In spite of these difficulties, Brennon, who is 33 years old, remained at his wife’s side and provided steadfast support. Everything that is going to take place is going to take place. “No matter what happens, I will always love you,” he comforted her. The pair is firm believers in the age-old proverb that unexpected events might take place at any time.
Despite the fact that Alexa is currently enjoying the many benefits of being pregnant, she has revealed that she has had a few challenges along the way. These challenges include having to sleep for long periods of time, fighting pneumonia, and dealing with continuous nausea and indigestion. Despite this, her appreciation for the trip has not diminished in any way.
It’s as if I’m saying to myself, “I wanted this even while I’m vomiting up. I cannot believe this. “I couldn’t be happier to be here.” It’s more like I just sort of roll with the punches. In addition, I believe that the reason I am so grateful for experiencing symptoms and going through it is because it has been such a lengthy road to get here,” she stated.
The couple also said that they are aware of the gender of their child, but they want to conceal this information until a party is held to announce it.
