Take a pause! It is confirmed that Kailyn Lowry is a mother of seven children. In the most recent episode of her podcast, Barely Famous, which was released on Friday, the former Teen Mom 2 star made the formal announcement that she and her partner, Elijah Scott, had become parents to twins.
The woman, who is now 31 years old, said that she is “in my girl mom era” now that she has finally given birth to a daughter. The fact that she and Elijah did not reveal the identities of her twins to the general world meant that she had a total of six males and one girl. Her twins were a boy and a girl.
Rio, who is not yet one year old, is also a child of Kailyn and Elijah, who are also parents. She is the mother of four children: her son Isaac, who is 14 years old, her son Lincoln, who is 10 years old, her son Javi Marroquin, and her boys Lux, who is 6 years old, and Creed, who is 3 years old.
In the episode of the podcast, Lowry disclosed that she has formally decided to stop having children. This decision was made after she had her tubes removed after the birth of her twins by cesarean section.
“I didn’t know before I had seven kids, how a person would know if they’re done having children,” according to Lowry. “I spent a significant amount of time after Creed saying, both publicly and privately, ‘I’m done, I’m done.’…” I am trying to persuade myself that I am finished having children, but I don’t want any more of them. I was aware of it.”
She went on to remark, “I wouldn’t say that I regret it because to have seven children is insane.” Have seven children? That’s ridiculous. It doesn’t feel completely out of control just yet… Because they are so fresh, they are not disorganized. It is going to be a hectic situation when Rio begins to walk and the twins are able to move about… However, I am finished. Are we finished with this? Now is the time for us to finish. That choice was made by us in the past. You said that you were able to handle three children.
Elijah expressed his agreement with a straightforward “Yeah.”
He went on to say that he intends to get a vasectomy.
He affirmed, “Yes, I’m done [having kids],” and he was right.
Kailyn had a little bit of fun with her newly discovered fame on TikTok by participating in a trend that went viral in which she enumerated the many characteristics that come along with being a mother of seven children.
“I am a mother of seven children. I never would have planned this for myself, but it happened, and I honestly would not have it any other way because I adore being a mother of seven,” she added. “It’s the best thing that could have happened to me.”
In 2010, Kailyn made her debut on the television show 16 and Pregnant, which aired on MTV. Within the show, she was shown welcome Isaac into the world. In the years that followed, she made appearances on all sixteen seasons of Teen Mom 2 as well as the spinoff series Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, which aired its last episode in the year 2022. During the last episode of the reunion series, Kailyn said that she had no intention of remaining in the franchise future.
