While attending the awards presentation on Sunday, the Marvel actors gave each other a hug.
At the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards, Tom Holland was able to catch up with his longtime buddy Mr. Stark!

A warm embrace was seen between the Spider-Man actor and his former Marvel co-star, Robert Downey Jr., at the awards event that took place on Sunday night.

In spite of the fact that it is not known if the two of them hugged one other before or after Downey was awarded the award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Lewis Strauss in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, it is quite evident that the two of them were overjoyed to see each other.

And Downey wasn’t the only A-lister that Holland smiled with at the awards presentation; another A-lister was also there. He also posed for photographs alongside Pedro Pascal and Billie Eilish, in addition to another Marvel actor, Tom Hiddleston, who is also associated with Marvel.

On the Critics’ Choice carpet, Deidre Behar of Entertainment Tonight met up with Holland, who said that he is “definitely” entering the “next chapter” of his acting career. Holland’s statement came after the conclusion of his Spider-Man trilogy, which will be released in 2021 with the film Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“I think the beginning of my career is sort of coming to a close with sort of getting to that next step,” according to him. “I am completely ecstatic. In order to challenge myself in ways that I didn’t believe I was capable of, I am feeling quite artistically inspired to try some new things. There are a few things that are not being paid attention to, but for the time being, I will have to keep those things to myself.
