After having a number of skin removal procedures over the course of the previous year, blogger Jacqueline Adan was once again the target of body shaming when she was on vacation in Key West, situated in the state of Florida.
In 2017, the 31-year-old woman revealed to her followers that she had been subjected to fat shaming when she was on holiday in Mexico. This took place after she had lost 350 pounds in only three years. People glanced at her and made fun of her since she was wearing a swimming suit for the first time in a “long time” when she was on vacation. She added that this was due of the loose skin that was on her body during her vacation. In a post that has now gone viral, she said that the attention had prompted her to shed tears.
The previous year, she was subjected to a body-shaming episode that was quite similar to this one, but her reaction was very different.

In a post that she made on Instagram on Wednesday, she said, “Yes, I was walking on the beach and was once again pointed at, laughed at, and made fun of.”
According to the Montessori preschool teacher, the conversation brought to her attention the significant amount of personal growth that she had experienced over the course of the first year. In her statement, she said that she is no longer dependent on the acceptance of other people. In spite of the fact that she continues to struggle with her body image, her major focus is how she feels about her body now.
After that, she continued by saying, “I don’t rely on the approval of other people.” In addition, I don’t care what other people think about my physical appearance. This is because I am too busy living my best life and trying hard to accept myself for who I am, loose skin and all. I do not have the time to worry about what other people may think or say because I am too busy living my best life.
It was Adan’s singular viewpoint that had an effect on her 118,000 followers.
“This image of you is really breathtaking! You are a representation of the self-love that ought to be a goal for all of us! A single one of them spoke the following: “Here I am, world, powerful and full of love and inspiring us.”
“You are a great inspiration, and people who condemn others based on their bodies are merely insecure! “You look absolutely lovely and amazing!” One more person took the time to comment.
She remarked, “I am finally able to say that this past year has been focused on my journey toward increasing my level of self-love.” “And it is a true transformation for me to be in this place in my life where I can go around in a bathing suit and genuinely feel happy and confident without worrying about what other people think or say,” she said. “It is a place where I can be myself.”
