This time around, the cast of Only Murders in the Building is having a great time working together.
At the AFI Awards Luncheon, which took place on Friday at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Meryl Streep got back together to celebrate their great series, along with other entertainment programs and films that have been garnering a lot of attention this awards season.
On the red carpet, Gomez, who is 31 years old, looked sensational in a black pinstriped suit with a Versace belt. Immediately after the occasion, she expressed how much it meant to her to collaborate with performers who have achieved icon status in the Hollywood industry.

“This woman has not only been my idol but such a wonderful person to me,” Gomez captioned a photo of herself doing a pose with Streep, who is 74 years old, as they were walking the red carpet together.
“I feel so blessed to know you, Meryl,” Gomez said in her tweet, addressing the renowned actress from The Devil Wears Prada in a direct manner. “Thank you for always making me feel seen and heard.”
A picture of the veteran actress, who was attending the event wearing her own version of a power suit in a lilac color, was also posted by Gomez. In the picture, the senior actress was seen smiling and gazing up at the younger actress. The shot was accompanied by a text that included a purple heart and an emoji of joyful tears.
The artist who sings “Single Soon” also shared a snapshot of herself standing between Martin, who is 78 years old, and Short, who is 73 years old. She penned, “My guys,” as a heartfelt dedication to her on-screen comrades in the investigation of criminal cases.

Emily Blunt, who plays Oppenheimer, was also included in a shot that Gomez posted on her Instagram account. With the photograph, which depicted both ladies with their hands covering their lips, she added, “We shall not speak lol,” which was accompanied by the image.
There are further candid photographs taken inside the luncheon that show Gomez and Martin posing for a picture at their table and glancing at something on Barbie actress Margot Robbie’s phone when she went by to say hello.
