As a homosexual youth, Anderson Cooper struggled with the idea that he would never be able to have children. However, at the age of 54, he is now experiencing an incredible amount of pleasure as the happy father of two lovely sons.

As Cooper reflected on his early knowledge that he was homosexual at the age of 12, he revealed the first sadness he felt, feeling that the ideal of being a father would be impossible to achieve. When we fast forward forty years, we find that in April of 2020, he became a father for the first time to Wyatt Morgan. Morgan is a family name that comes from his late mother Gloria Vanderbilt’s side of the family, while Wyatt is a tribute to his late father, Wyatt Emory Cooper.
Despite the fact that he had purchased a number of parenting books, Cooper stated in a hilarious manner that he had not read any of them before to Wyatt’s birth. Recognizing that he had first had some anxiety around parenting, he discovered that he was able to take pleasure in the experience. He received a significant amount of support, particularly from his ex-partner, Benjamin Maisani, who is also a co-parent with him.

In spite of the unique nature of their family dynamic, Cooper and Maisani have continued to grow their family throughout the years. The news that Anderson Cooper has had a new kid, Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper, was disclosed by Cooper on an episode of the television show “Anderson Cooper 360.” A joyful and loving greeting awaits Sebastian, who became a member of the family via the process of adoption.

Cooper recognizes the singularity of their circumstance and places an emphasis on the family connection that they have with one another. He acknowledges Maisani as his closest companion and expresses his appreciation for the way in which they share parental responsibilities. With the birth of Sebastian, their lives are enriched with an additional layer of delight, and Cooper, who is a father for the second time, tackles the role of parent with a more composed attitude.
