During his appearance at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, the actor, who is 53 years old, sported a new look: his natural gray hair. This resulted in enthusiastic replies from followers on Twitter.
There was one individual who opted for all-caps support and wrote, “GRAY HAIRED MATT DAMON.” Another person expressed their approval of the style by saying, “Oh, Matt Damon looks good with the gray hair.”
On the other hand, there are some individuals who are taking some time to adjust to the appearance first. While everything was going on, Damon’s co-presenter and an old friend, Ben Affleck, who is 51 years old, appeared in his typical darker color.
The grooming decision that Damon made for the evening may have caused a stir, but the rest of his clothing for the Golden Globes was pretty typical. In addition to David Yurman jewels, the Air star sported a classic black Giorgio Armani tuxedo that was custom-made for him. Throughout the evening, he was accompanied by his most cherished item, which was his wife, Luciana Barroso, who was dressed in Versace.
Christopher Nolan was presented with the prize for best director for a motion picture, which was presented to Damon together with his friend and associate Ben Affleck. The award was presented to Nolan for his work on the film Oppenheimer during the presentation. Additionally, Damon and Affleck sat at the same table as Barroso and Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Lopez, who stunned on the red carpet in a gown designed by Nicole + Felicia.
Damon was also considered for the award for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture, whether it be a musical or a comedy, for his part in the film Air. He was nominated for this award with Nicolas Cage, Timothée Chalamet, Joaquin Phoenix, Jeffrey Wright, and Paul Giamatti, who eventually secured the award.
