Already in April of 2022, the former cast member of ‘Glee’ and Mia Swier became parents to a girl named Bluesy.
Mia Swier, Darren Criss’s wife, is expecting their second child, and the couple is excited. On Thursday, the former member of Glee appeared on Instagram to make the news, accompanied by a humorous poster for the film.
It seems appropriate that Criss, who is 36 years old, referred to the event as a sequel. They received their daughter, Bluesy, who is now one year old, in April of 2022. He and Swier are the parents of children. During the introduction, the poster for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was shown; however, Criss had photoshopped his, Swier’s, and Bluesy’s faces onto the faces of Meryl Streep, Lily James, and Amanda Seyfried, who are the lead actors in the 2018 sequel.
“And coming soon,” Criss captioned the photo on her Instagram account. “Let’s hope the sequel is better than the photoshop.”
Criss exclaimed, “M & D made some sweet music,” in the birth announcement that was published at the time. “🎶 Bluesy Belle Criss 🎶 4/11/22 💙 Out now. 💙.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Criss discussed his experiences as a parent and how they influenced his approach to acting after the birth of his daughter.
Criss said in June of 2022, “It is absolutely stunning.” The phrase “beauty begets beauty”
He also said that the fact that he is now a parent has altered the manner that he approaches his profession.
He made the observation that being a parent is “wonderful,” and he said, “I believe that life is always present in the work that you do.”
“So, it was present when I was a son, as a friend, as a brother, as a husband,” he stated further. This is something that I contribute to all that I do. That being said, it is true that there is a new facet to parenting, but I make it a point to bring the best version of myself to everything I do. Therefore, I hope that I have improved. My level has increased.”
