She is now in her granny period, Marlee Matlin.
On Wednesday, the former cast member of Switched at Birth, who is 58 years old, revealed that her daughter Sarah Rose Grandalski, who is her eldest child, is expecting a baby girl.
Matlin included a video of her 27-year-old son strolling by her as she was sitting at an outside table with a piece of cake in front of her in the announcement post that she posted on Instagram. The actress grabbed her daughter’s wrist when Grandalski walked by in order to prevent her from moving forward and to bring her closer to her.
As soon as Grandalski turned around to face the camera, her expanding belly was plainly visible while she was wearing her crop top. The mother and daughter were both smiling together at the same time.
“It’s a girl!” she said. As her daughter flipped the cake to reveal that it was pink on the inside, Matlin expressed this orally while simultaneously communicating with her daughter using American Sign Language.

She uploaded video from the day to her Instagram Story, which can be seen on Grandalski’s Instagram account. Family and friends were seen in a number of films gathering in the backyard of a house for the purpose of revealing the gender of the baby.
A cloud of pink dust was revealed when the woman who was about to become a mother threw a ball to her boyfriend as he struck it with a bat. Those who were there enthusiastically clapped for the couple as they expressed their joy at the prospect of expanding their family.
Kevin Grandalski, Matlin’s spouse, is the father of four children: Brandon Joseph Grandalski, who is 23 years old; Tyler Daniel Grandalski, who is 21 years old; Isabelle Jane Grandalski, who is 19 years old; and Sarah.
PEOPLE published an interview with the actress in 2018, in which she said how delighted her children were to see their mother compete on Dancing with the Stars.
“The reason I’m doing it is because my children want me to be the most amazing mother in the history of the world. When she was asked about it at the time, she said, “I don’t know if I’m crazy or what, but I’m going to give it my best shot!”
She went on to say that she was also a fan of the dramatic elements seen in the popular series.
