On her birthday, the singer celebrated in Sin City with a party.
Christina Aguilera celebrated her birthday with some of the most important people in her life, including her daughter Summer Rain, who is nine years old.
When it came time for the pop diva to celebrate her big day, her young kid surprised her with a plethora of pink balloons, silver streamers, and embraces.
Aguilera tweeted a video montage from the special celebrations, in which she was seen with her daughter next to some balloon letters that spelled out “Happy BDay.” These balloon letters were arranged in a hotel room in Las Vegas.
After that, the birthday girl was escorted into a theatrical location, which was most likely the venue at The Venetian, where she would soon be beginning her residency performance in Las Vegas. There, she was provided with a feast consisting of cake and macaroons, which was served by a large number of dancers.
The joyous image was accompanied with the words “Thank you for all the birthday wishes,” which said the singer. “Sending love from Vegas.”
At the beginning of August, Aguilera honored Summer’s ninth birthday by sending her a number of photographs that she had taken of Summer performing on stage with her sister.
“Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Summer Rain,” the singer of “Genie in a Bottle” captioned the photo on one of her social media accounts. “As I sit here now, I can’t help but think about how efficiently time has passed. Over the course of these nine years, I have experienced an abundance of love, touching embraces, staying up too late, Disney trips, and most recently, the pleasure of sharing the stage with you.
The bulk of the photographs show Summer wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt that seems to be concert merchandise and has a portrait of Aguilera on the front left side of the garment. The final photograph had her wearing a white T-shirt as she was positioned behind a drum equipment.
“Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma, a role that stands as my ultimate accomplishment,” Aguilera wrote in 2009. Having the opportunity to see the amazing young lady that you are developing into is a source of enormous satisfaction for me. Your mother loves you so very much!
Summer is a time that Aguilera and her fiance, Matt Rutler, spend together. The engagement between Aguilera and Rutler took place on Valentine’s Day in 2014, after the couple had been dating for close to four years. Later that same year, the couple had a daughter named Summer Rain Rutler. Even though Aguilera has a son named Max Liron, who is 15 years old, with her ex-husband, music producer Jordan Bratman, Summer is the first kid that Rutler has welcomed into the world.
