ET had the opportunity to speak with the country artist about her ‘Velvet Rodeo’ concert, which will continue until April 2024.
The love that Miranda Lambert is receiving from some of her contemporaries and close friends is being felt by her when she is performing in Las Vegas.
just, Lambert sat down with Entertainment Tonight to discuss her Velvet Rodeo performance, which, as was just reported, will continue to run until April 2024, as well as the fact that she is receiving some support from fellow country star Carrie Underwood.
Lambert observed, “I don’t think Carrie and I have ever seen each other’s shows and it’s possible that we have never done so.” “Which is insane to even say, because her and I started at the same time.”
Lambert elaborated on the remarkable “very parallel careers and paths” that she and Underwood have taken in the realm of country music that they have both pursued.
I am from a little town in Texas, and she is from a modest community in the state of Oklahoma. During the time that she was competing on American Idol, I was competing on National Star. I believe that she was about a year behind me, but we were both the same age and we were signed to the same record company for a decade,” revealed Lambert. “So I feel like we just have a really big mutual respect for each other.”
She showed her admiration for Underwood, saying that she is “one of the hardest working women in the business” and that she has “done everything, and she’s done it with such grace.” Lambert commended Underwood for her work ethic.
“I always say, if Carrie’s on whatever show it is, country music’s gonna look good — because she’s classy, and she just does a great job, and she’s an amazing vocalist,” said Lambert further.
As Lambert put it, “I’m actually going to go see her show this week,” she was referring to Carrie Underwood’s residency show in Las Vegas, which is called reflection. “I can’t take it. We are taking trades!
When asked about her experience at Lambert’s concert, Carrie Underwood has said, “She was really kind. She blogged everything about it, and I do believe that they had a wonderful time.
“Her encouragement was very much appreciated by me. Lambert continued by saying, “That was really sweet.”
While this was going on, Lambert provided an explanation of what fans would be able to anticipate from the experience in the year 2024, given that her performance will continue until the year 2024.
