An important new achievement has been accomplished by Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman!

During the celebration of their fifth wedding anniversary, which took place on Friday, VanCamp, who is 37 years old, posted photographs from their time together on Instagram.

“Five years of marriage, twelve years of being together. Oh, what a magnificent journey it has been! First and foremost, I adore the tiny family that we have established, but I also adore the life that we have constructed together. I would want to wish you a happy anniversary, my darling. “Can’t wait for everything that is going to happen!! @march_forth_media,” she wrote in the description of the photo.

The post started out with a cute picture of the two of them sharing a passionate kiss in front of a background of the ocean. In a different picture, they posed for a selfie while wearing sunglasses that matched each other. In further photographs, they were seen watching the sun go down.

In May of 2017, VanCamp and Bowman, who is 35 years old, announced their engagement. On December 15, 2018, they tied the ceremony in the Bahamas.

PEOPLE was informed by Vancamp that they were taking their time with the wedding planning process and that they were concentrating on their business while also finding pleasure in the time they were spending together.

Both of us immediately began working after we announced our engagement to one another. Not only are we not in a hurry, but we are also not in the process of organizing a wedding. We are both extremely focused on our profession, so the limited time we have together, we simply want to be there with each other,” she said in an interview with People magazine in January of 2018. “I believe once we start, it will go fast, hopefully,” she said.

As co-stars on the ABC show Revenge, in which they both portrayed roles of a husband and wife, the pair first became acquainted with one another. The couple became parents for the first time in August of 2021, and they called their daughter Iris.

During a recent interview with People, VanCamp shared her thoughts on the qualities that she admires the most in her spouse.

I am a person that tends to be a little bit more on the broody side, a little bit more introspective, and I don’t know, more of a realist. Most of the time, he is an idealist. That serves as a wonderful balance, which is extremely nice to have. By April 2021, she expressed her gratitude to PEOPLE by saying, “I was very fortunate to have such a positive person around all the time.”

When she sent a heartfelt birthday tribute to her husband on Instagram in March, she expressed the same thoughts that she had previously expressed.

My dearest birthday wishes to you! Every darn day, you make our hearts burst with happiness and laughter for no apparent reason. Please accept my gratitude for being the finest husband, father, and fur parent to your daughters. One of the captions that she wrote was, “We love you so much.”
