In addition to appearing on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” the stand-up comic has appeared on other television shows.
Actor and comedian Kenny DeForest, who was 37 years old, passed away.
Ryan Beck, a friend of DeForest’s, made the announcement on the comedian’s GoFundMe page, which was established initially in response to an accident involving a bicycle.
Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, was the location where DeForest, who was known for his stand-up comedy performances on The Late Late Show with James Corden and Late Night With Seth Meyers, passed away on Wednesday.
DeForest had been engaged in an accident with an electric bicycle on December 8th, and as a result, he had neurological surgery to have a portion of his skull removed in order to alleviate the pressure that was caused by a brain hemorrhage. Beck disclosed this information.
“Kenny’s impactful life will continue on through the gift of organ donation,” according to Beck. “Even in loss he will continue to make meaningful improvements in the lives of others.”
In order to assist DeForest’s family in covering the expenses associated with his medical bills, a GoFundMe page was established. As a result of the generosity of contributors, the page was able to exceed the target of $150,000, with approximately $180,000 being given.
