If you were raised in a household similar to mine, you most likely have your own compiled and well-established list of Christmas classics for your own collection.

As a result of the fact that my parents were more into classic Christmas carols – Mariah Carey and Wham! were absolutely banned – I have a sweet place in my heart for those tunes that have endured the years and evoke emotions of nostalgia each and every time they are played.

It’s probably because of this that I felt all warm and fuzzy inside the very first time I heard Carrie Underwood perform The Little Drummer Boy as a stunning duet with her son…

I think we can all agree that The Little Drummer Boy is a classic tune that will never go out of style.

A traditional Czech hymn is supposed to have served as the inspiration for the lyrics, and Katherine K. Davis is credited with writing the song in its current form in 1941. They are said to have been written by Davis.

Throughout the years, it has been covered by a variety of artists, including Bing Crosby, Johnny Cash, and even Justin Bieber, which has been beneficial to the song’s popularity. This is true of every Christmas song that has been well accepted.

The version of this well-known musical song that is favored by the individual differs according to their preferences; nonetheless, there is a good probability that you will find something that you like in each of the versions. After all, there is a real reason why it is considered a classic.

On the other hand, I cannot deny that I was struck by a very pleasant feeling when I first heard Carrie Underwood’s song from the year 2020, which she recorded with her son Isaiah, who was just five years old at the time.

For the benefit of those who are unaware – and we hope there aren’t many of you – Carrie Underwood is a country music star who has successfully captivated and pleased audiences on several occasions throughout the course of her career.

When she announced in the year 2020 that she would be releasing an album around the time of Christmas, which is the most popular holiday season everyone celebrates, the enthusiasm among her supporters was tremendous.

The CD in question had a captivating mix of Christmas classics as well as Carrie’s own original compositions and renditions of classic songs. However, the eleventh song is the one that stands out to me the most; it is, as you probably guessed, The Little Drummer Boy.

Isaiah, Carrie’s son, was the one who took on the burden of singing the famous vocals, and the two of them performed together in a very spectacular duet. as well as smashing it out of the roof.
