Christina Applegate has been a well-known actor on television for many years, starting with her first appearance in the television series Married… with Children and continuing with her work in the Netflix series Dead to Me, which has received widespread praise from critics.
Applegate recently disclosed her newly acquired diagnosis of multiple sclerosis… She asserts that this indicates that she will most likely no longer be able to act in front of the camera.
Multiple sclerosis is a condition that affects the central nervous system and may result in fatigue, muscle weakness, and problems with balance and coordination. Applegate, who is 51 years old, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
It was in 2021 that the actress made the announcement about her ailment as she was shooting the final season of Dead to Me. Due to the fact that she was experiencing health problems, she was unable to continue shooting.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actress who plays Anchorman revealed the difficulties she has with multiple sclerosis (MS). She said that the disease has made her day-to-day life difficult since it interferes with her balance.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, she said, “There is never a good day with MS.” Because of this, you are unable to carry goods or walk down the stairs anymore. “It is a f—ing nightmare.”

While Applegate was praising her co-star Linda Cardellini in the Netflix series D.ead to Me, she hinted that the Netflix series would be her last appearance on screen. She said that the long hours of shooting were too taxing for her due to multiple sclerosis.
Applegate has claimed, “It is highly likely that I will not work in front of the camera again.”
The statement that she made was, “I can’t even imagine going to set right now.” “Over time, this is a disease that gets progressively worse.” If things continue to get worse, I can’t say for sure. Given that I am obligated to provide for my family and maintain mental stimulation, I am able to engage in voiceover work.

Applegate noted in a previous interview with Variety that she was seeking for additional possibilities to continue performing, despite the fact that she could not possibly devote the same amount of time on D.ead to Me as she did on the show.
The explanation that Applegate provided was, “It’s about discovering what I’m capable of.” With regard to this, I am just getting started. In order to diagnose this illness and determine the factors that are creating symptoms, it will need some time.I’m just getting started with this.”
“As a result, I am attempting to figure it out, and at the same time, I am lamenting the person that I used to be.” When I say, “Hey, I can only work for five hours,” people won’t think I’m a diva if I say that. I need to locate a place that is just as wonderful as my set.
Applegate also expressed her ambition to work in the entertainment industry in a different capacity, such as producing or developing: “I’ve got a lot of ideas in my head, and I just need to get them executed,” she said in an interview with Variety.
Applegate attended the SAG Awards earlier this year, declaring it would be her “last awards show as an actor.”

Additionally, Applegate has triumphed against breast cancer. 2008 was the year when she received a diagnosis of breast cancer, and after undergoing a double mastectomy, she claimed that she was cancer-free.
The fact that Christina Applegate will not be able to appear as regularly as she formerly did is a disappointment to us since we like her performances. During her fight against multiple sclerosis, we hope that she is able to continue working and wish her the best of luck.
