When Kim Guiley, a mother from California, found out that she was carrying her second child, she immediately thought of the fears that she had surrounding her pregnancy. In the house, Guiley gave birth in a natural way, and everything was going swimmingly until one time that was really significant.
Throughout the whole of her pregnancy, Guiley was certain that she was going to come into the world with a beautiful young girl. Together with her husband, Travis, she spent nine months preparing for the birth of a daughter and deciding on a name for her.
The mother of Guiley couldn’t believe it when she went to see her newborn child in July, when the delivery was a typical one.

As demonstrated by her gaping expression, Guiley was under the impression that she was carrying a girl until she discovered that she was really carrying a male. The moment of astonishment was photographed by photographer Susannah Gill, and Guiley subsequently published it on Instagram and blogged about it on her blog, which is called Santa Cruz Family Doula Collective.
She stated, “This is the moment we found Theo’s sex, after a lifetime of fantasizing for one of each, but months of feeling so firmly that we were having another girl.” This was the moment that we finally found Theo’s sex.
Before the couple’s miscarriage, Guiley had previously given birth to a baby girl who they named Hazel. Because of the loss, they had every intention of concealing the gender of the child.
