The finest should be provided for the youngsters. They are able to get food and clothes, and their family is able to provide for their fundamental need. They, too, reside in a place that is quite pleasant. This privilege, however, is not one that every kid is born with.

A former educator took in a number of foster children; four of those children would go on to have a profound impact on her life, regardless of the circumstances.
For the past five years, Melissa Servetz, who is a single mother and used to be a teacher, has been employed in the field of social services. As a consequence of this, she made her house and her heart available to children who were in need of foster care.
Over the course of her career, she has fostered a total of 56 children. Over the course of her life, it is reasonable to assume that she helped a great number of children. At long last, she made the decision to have one more child before she finally said goodbye.
She was completely unaware that “one more” was all that was required for her to accomplish her own goal.
When Melissa was contemplating adopting another kid, her maternal instincts took over and directed her actions. It was said by her that she had always desired to have a child of her own. When she saw her foster children and discovered that they were still alive, her heart was shattered.
While she was thinking about all of the highs and lows she had experienced with them, she also thought about all of the adventures that they had had. Melissa entertained the idea of adopting them, which would have provided the children with a place to call home and enabled her to take advantage of a long-standing desire to become a mother.
Melissa was under the impression that the children had found her by accident. During the time that she was teaching at Tampa Bay, she was contacted by the mother of a former student, who informed her that there were several youngsters who needed a temporary home to reside. She told them that they were going to be taken from their home and put in the care of a charitable organization in the near future.
She made contact with the organization in order to verify that there were two young ladies who need foster care. The next week, she went to pick up Jade, the eldest of the four, before switching to Destiny. Jade was the oldest of the four.
The mother of the children gave birth to two more boys, Matthew and Emerson, who also needed to be placed in foster care. Melissa lacked the strength to refuse, and as a result, she was unable to refrain from keeping them apart. Because she shared the same sentiment, she made the decision to adopt all four of them and not abandon any of them.
It was not lost on Melissa that the children were suffering, and she was especially conscious of the suffering that Jade and Destiny had endured. The whole group attends therapy sessions in order to mourn their losses and to assist Melissa in learning how to communicate with the youngsters.
“I would like for them to do not forget that I selected them.” In an interview with Good Morning America, Melissa said, “I believe that I have the best children in the entire world.”
