Kourtney claims, in an episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ that her family is more concerned with the outward appearance of things than with having each other’s backs.
Kourtney Kardashian is of the opinion that her famous family has to reevaluate how they spend their time. Kourtney Kardashian wraps up her heated conversation with Khloé Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson in this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
During the conversation, Kourtney expressed her opinion to the NBA player that, in light of his many infidelities, she did not believe that he merited her sister. In the episode that aired this week, Kourtney went even farther when she said that the guys in their family are “so lucky” since her mother and sisters tend to value being “one big happy family” above “setting a boundary” or “having someone’s back.”
The mother of four has said that she finds it “interesting” that her family tends to concentrate on the surface aspects of situations rather than making sure that the one who is being impacted is okay.
“We can make sure Khloé looks her best, she’s dressed up, she feels good, she’s in glam, takes good photos, we can do all that,” according to Kourtney. “But really making sure the person feels supported, stood up for, sets the boundaries they need to set and is supported in that, ’cause in this family, it’s not,” she said. Kourtney, who has four children with her former partner Scott Disick and one kid with her current partner Travis Barker, adds that she had participated in a conversation similar to the one described.
Tristan gives Kourtney a response in which he says that he is “not proud of the person I used to be,” but that he is “of course” proud of who he is becoming. Kourtney is surprised by this statement.
Kourtney goes even farther in her candid interview by declaring, “I’m not here to hold a grudge, I think that was the point in having the conversation.” I am of the opinion that humans are capable of developing. The job that he’s doing and the route that he’s on are fascinating to me for the simple reason that it’s disturbing when your words and your deeds don’t line up with one other. It’s easier to just talk. Everyone in our family has the ability to continue to normalize the acts of some of the males in our life, and I do not want to demonstrate to my daughter that it is OK for such behaviors to be shown. I believe that showing grace and forgiveness is appropriate, but I also believe that setting clear limits is really vital.
Penelope Disick, who is now 11 years old, is co-parented by Kourtney and her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. In addition, she is the mother of kids Mason, 13, and Reign, 8, and she and Travis have just recently became parents to a newborn baby named Rocky.
During the conversation, Tristan reveals that he “of course” wishes to spend the rest of his life with Khloé, despite the infidelity scandals that have occurred between them in the past as well as how he has treated her in the present.
True Thompson, who is now 5 years old, and Tatum Thompson, who is now 1 year old, are Khloé and Tristan’s children together. Aside from the fact that he cheated on Khloé with other women, Tristan also fathered a kid with Maralee Nichols when he was engaged to Khloé behind her back. Khloé claims that her ex “encouraged” her to have an embryo transfer in order to birth their kid via surrogate days before the news of the paternity case surfaced in late 2021. The complaint alleges that Khloé is the biological mother of their son.
