After a woman gives birth to a kid, the two of them must instantly begin to bond with one another in order to establish a connection that is both physically and emotionally satisfying. However, it is not always feasible since there are certain circumstances that are beyond their control that force them to become estranged from one another.
This is what occurred to a baby who was later identified as Vetin Begdaş, but thank goodness, he was eventually able to be reunited with his mother after being separated from her for a significant amount of time.
During the month of April 2023, a video was uploaded on social media by Derya Yank, a member of the National Assembly of Turkey. In the video, she could be seen holding a newborn close to her chest as they traveled by airplane.
She chatted with baby Vetin and stated, translated from Turkish to English: “Yes, you will meet your mother soon.” The opening few seconds of the tape show her saying this.
It was discovered that the infant had been removed from his mother for more than fifty-four days.

During the interview segment of the film, Derya explains that the kid is “really a miracle” due to the fact that he was able to “survive 128 hours… without eating for five days, without water, food, or milk.” She says that this feat demonstrates the child’s ability to “survive 128 hours… without eating for five days.”
According to a story from the Daily Mirror, the infant was saved from the Hatay region after a massive earthquake struck Turkey and Syria in February 2023.
Baby Gizem is an Egyptian name that means “mystery,” and it was given to him by the nurses when he was rescued. Even though he was gone for a significant amount of time, he fortunately did not have any health issues.
Although he emerged unscathed from the ordeal, reports indicate that his father and two brothers all perished as a result of the event.
DNA testing was the only thing that made it possible for the adorable little boy to be reunified with his mother after being separated for so long.
Derya saw the scene seen in the film, in which the mother, who had been presumed to have perished in the earthquake, was seen comforting her small son after the two of them had been apart for a considerable amount of time, as a really moving moment for both of them and for all of the rescue workers who were involved.
“It was a really heartfelt and beautiful occasion for the both of us… “Being able to see the joy on both of their faces and knowing that we were able to bring them back together is probably one of the most priceless things in the world,” she added.
The mother and boy received an assurance from Derya, who is a member of Turkey’s Ministry of Family and Social Services, that they would always get help from the government.
“Whenever his mother needs it, we will continue to support Gizem’s education, health needs, and other needs,” she continued. “We will also continue to support Gizem’s other needs.”
Since the child had already been reunited with his mother, Derya could only offer him his best wishes, as he wanted for both the child and the mother to have a “long and happy life.”
“May it never be that they have to go their separate ways again. She said, “And for all of our children in our country and in the world, let there be beauty, goodness, prosperity, and happiness.”
The narrative was able to move many online, as seen by the encouraging comments they made in the video that was posted on the minister’s profile on several social media platforms.
“A Story That Will Warm Your Heart. The mother and her newborn child were reunited. “, the other person wrote.
Another person said that “this is a beautiful amazing story that left me crying with joy!” after reading it.
One person responded by saying, “Thanks for sharing – tears of joy for all!”
