The Christmas season brings out a touch of sentimentality in Jason Kelce’s clothing choices.
A supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles noted on Wednesday that the Philadelphia Eagles center, who is 36 years old, and her grandmother Kitty seem to have similar tastes in fashion.
Who sported it more elegantly? @JasonKelce, or maybe my Grandma Kitty from about the year 2004? On X (formerly known as Twitter), a supporter by the name of Jenna Winterle Kehres posted the hashtags #HappyHolidays and #GoBirds. In the post, there was a photo of the athlete and his wife, Kylie Kelce, standing next to each other, and there was also a picture of an elderly lady sitting in a chair.
Both Jason and Kitty were wearing white Christmas sweaters with red and green decorations and leaves embroidered into the fabric. The sweaters were eerily identical to one another.
As he tweeted Kehres’ analogy on X, the Super Bowl champion remarked, “This might literally be your Grandmother’s sweater!” He published a new post in which he praised the user’s grandma, saying that she had “great taste.”
The couple’s family Christmas card, which was created in cooperation with the online marketplace Minted, included the photograph of Jason and Kylie. The couple’s three young children—Bennett, who was 8 months old, Elliotte, who was 2, and Wyatt, who was 3 years old—participated in the celebratory picture session, along with the family’s two Irish Wolfhounds.
In an interview with PEOPLE that took place earlier this month, Kylie revealed in an exclusive interview how she and her sister were able to convince their small children to participate in the collaboration. However, she did mention that their babysitter was nearby to assist the operation work well.
“It’s obviously a combined effort between Jason and I, and it’s absolutely a collective effort to handle our children. She said that everyone was pulling together to “grab whoever we can and make sure that we can keep them as close as possible.” “All hands are going out to grab whoever we can.” “We had a few photos this year with the dogs, which just adds a whole new level of challenge.”
The mother of three also went over the Kelces’ preparations for the upcoming holiday.
“Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Because I cherish the fact that it is a time for coming together with family and feasting on delectable cuisine, I make it a point to always give it the attention that it deserves. And then after that, I mean the day after Thanksgiving, it is just merry and bright in our home.”
On this week’s edition of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the weekly podcast that Jason co-hosts with his younger brother, Jason provided a greater level of specificity about his intentions for the upcoming holiday.
Jason will be in Pennsylvania with Kylie and their children while the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who is 34 years old, says he’ll “be feasting on KFC” alone in Missouri.
In addition, Jason said that when they were children, the Kelces didn’t much like turkey, so on Thanksgiving they would have “pork chops” instead, and then they would go outside to play football with the other kids in their area.
The two sets of siblings competed against one another on the field earlier in the week for the first time since the 2023 Super Bowl.
At the conclusion of the Monday Night Football game played at Arrowhead Stadium, the Eagles came out on top, claiming a victory by a score of 21-17.
