However, while being among the most important members of society, teachers have among of the lowest salaries.
A rare breed indeed is the one who dedicates their whole life to guiding, advising, and instructing younger generations.
There are several instances of educators going well beyond the call of duty in order to assist their pupils.
For instance, Jonathan Oliver, a physical education teacher at WG Nunn Elementary School in Valdosta, Georgia, was recently complimented for something pleasant he did while leading a basketball game for kindergarteners. The game was being played by students in the school’s kindergarten class.
If a child approached him for assistance, he would gladly provide it to them.
When Kristen Paulk’s kindergarten basketball coach Oliver saw that she needed assistance putting her hair back in a ponytail, he immediately stepped in to provide a hand.
Oliver seemed intent as he reached down to Kristen’s level on the basketball and pushed her hair out of her eyes before returning his attention to the game. However, he was unaware that he was being recorded at the time.
One of the teachers at the primary school, Kandice Anderson, was the one who recorded the kind deed of the coach on camera. After that, she uploaded the video on YouTube, where it quickly garnered a lot of positive feedback from viewers.

The film, which soon gained traction and was given the title “When your job goes beyond teaching!”, became quite famous.
After the video was shown on Good Morning America, the man, who is a father of three children and is 34 years old.
Oliver expressed his surprise to Good Morning America by saying, “It shocked me that it got that much attention because we all do it.” Additionally, he claimed that he was unaware that he was being videotaped.
The educator continued by saying, “We want them to feel like they enjoy being here and that they are at home here.” “We try to love them as much as we possibly can.” I got the impression that it was a ponytail from that.
The devoted coach said that Kristen had approached him for assistance before to a basketball game in the form of a request to arrange her hair in a ponytail. In the past, he has assisted his daughter in doing her hair, but this time he was at a loss for what to do.
He joked that if it had been anything different, he would have told her to call her mother for advice. “She should have asked for a ponytail.
Miyah Cleckley, the girl’s mother, said to the news provider that the video had a profound effect on her and that she feels at ease knowing that her daughter is in good hands with him. “I can always rely on him to look out for Kristen’s best interests,” she said. It was endearing due to the fact that her father does a lot of the family’s hair. Because we have five daughters and one boy in the house, he styles the hair of all of our girls while I am at work.
