Tuesday night, at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, the actress spoke with ET about her career.
At the 2023 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Selma Blair is feeling happier than she has in a number of years, and she is taking advantage of the positive energy that surrounds her.

The actress, who is 51 years old and is now battling multiple sclerosis, provided an update on her condition while walking the red carpet at the star-studded event on Tuesday, which took place at Jazz at Lincoln Centre in New York City. ET was there to interview her.

“I’m in excellent physical shape. Blair added, “I’ve been in remission ever since I had a bone marrow transplant to stop the progression of the MS, which had been burning for really many, many years.” “It had been burning for really many, many years.”

She went on to say that the process of recuperation after the operation, which she had in 2021, required some time. “But I am feeling really, really much stronger now and building stamina.”

The actress went on to say that “everything is good” with respect to her current state of health, and that she is devoting the majority of her time and energy to assisting others.

“It’s been a really lovely journey in this second part of my life, of finding [my] community and realising that nothing feels as good as helping to be a loudhailer for other people,” according to Blair.

“This is my first trip here, and it is an incredible honour to be given this opportunity. “This is unbelievable,” she said in an interview with ET. “And in a time when we’re definitely burdened with a lot of thoughts in this world, it’s nice to come out and celebrate people who want to hear each other’s voices.”

“It is such an honour to be an advocate for people with disabilities,” said Blair further.
