If Kody Brown wants to get back together with his ex-wife Janelle Brown, he is well aware that he will need to step things up.
In the episode that aired on Sunday of Sister Wives, Kody, who is 54 years old, paid his first visit to Janelle, who is also 54, and their daughter Savannah at their new apartment. In spite of the fact that he was taken aback by how much room there was, he rapidly came to the conclusion that Janelle’s new house, which she referred to as her “little sanctuary” away from Kody, was not designed to tolerate his presence there.
“I really enjoy coming here. The other flat had a limited amount of space. “But it’s just dawning on me that maybe the whole reason Janelle moved here was because the other apartment was our place,” he said to the cameras. “But it’s just dawning on me that maybe Janelle moved here because the other apartment was our place.” “I was living there with her and she’s moved here, and it doesn’t look like I’ll be living here with her.”
Kody carried on by saying, “It’s her apartment. It does not belong to us. However, there is not enough space for me. It is not about either her or myself. To tell you the truth, I have no idea why she is showing it to me other than the fact that our daughter Savannah now resides there.

The patriarch of the Brown family said that he is “not even welcome here,” which was most likely the reason why everything that occurred between the three of them felt “so awkward.”
“I’m taking a look at this flat right now. I mean, it just seems so apparent to me right now. “I’m never going to set foot in that house again,” he said.
Janelle said that the meeting “went better” than she expected, despite the fact that talking about what’s happening with the family’s land in Coyote Pass did not help lessen the stress in the situation. However, this did not compel her to change her mind about wanting to get back together with her husband.
She freely stated to the cameras, “I don’t really see Kody in the equation,” while she was being questioned. “I really just don’t.”
Kody does not “know how to define the relationship” that they have at the moment with one another. He said that “neither of us are that interested” in finding a solution to the problem; yet, he is still “trying to be interested” in the concept and is “trying to talk about reconciliation.” Having said that, he freely admits that he feels “pathetically” about the fact that she “commonly rejects” him.
Once, I questioned Janelle by asking, “Say, what is it? Why is it that we can’t make peace? Let us make an effort to make amends. Why can’t we?'” he recalls asking at the time. “[She said], ‘Well, I don’t know what your relationship is with Robyn and Meri, but I’m just not interested in being involved with those people,'” [He said] “[She said]” It’s unfortunate, but it was the compromise we had to make in regard to multiple marriage.
On the other hand, Janelle offered a unique viewpoint. “He has never once approached me and told me, ‘Hey, I love you,'” she added. It’s been too long. I really want to get a handle on this situation. The question is constantly asked, “Don’t you want to bring the family back together so that he can get his life back on track?” She justified her position in a confessional by saying, “And I’m done with that, I really am.”
Janelle said that if Kody were “dying to get back with me,” he would be “actively pursuing” having a counselor to further work on their difficulties. Janelle was referring to the fact that Kody would be doing this if he were “dying to get back with me.”
“It’s unfortunate, but it’s been resolved. Kody later said in a second confessional interview that he was unable to put the parts of the jigsaw back together. But I’m going to question her about our relationship once more the following week to see if there’s any chance that we might patch things up. It is excruciating each and every time. It’s possible that I need to take this matter more seriously. But every time it’s just like, ‘Nope.'”

Kody’s bond with Savannah has also become stronger, which is a positive development. In the past, Kody and Janelle had a blow-out disagreement, which led in his spending weeks without speaking to the 18-year-old. This caused tension between the two of them, and the relationship became strained.
“Kody has been working to improve his relationship with Savannah. Janelle shared her observation that “he takes her out to dinner every couple of weeks.” “He is seeing her more frequently than he was at the beginning of the year for sure.”
However, in regards to his separation with the exes’ boys, Garrison and Gabe, there is still a great deal of work that has to be done. “My connection with Savannah is one that is kind and considerate. “I haven’t talked to Gabriel or Garrison in quite some time,” he disclosed to me.
“It makes me feel quite down that we aren’t as close as we used to be. Following that, he went on to say that there were “just so many things in our lives that we did together that were rich experiences, you know, just special occasions.” “I believe, and it is my sincere hope, that in due course we will just get over this, and that it will be safe for us to be around one other once again. There isn’t much of an opportunity for dialogue between Gabe and Garrison at the moment. They have made it clear that they do not want to interact with me.
After years of engaging in the practice of polygamy, Kody is now in a monogamous marriage with his fourth wife, Robyn. Janelle, Meri, and Christine all divorced him within a span of 14 months, prompting him to seek a new partner. The aftermath of those three weddings, in addition to the general upheaval that has taken place inside the family, has been the primary focus of the 18th season of Sister Wives.
