Finding a way to see both of Donna Kelce’s boys play football at the same time is a challenge in and of itself for her.
According to Travis and Jason Kelce’s mother, she begins making preparations many months before the beginning of each season so that she may attend her sons’ NFL games.
“It’s a little bit challenging. She reveals this while speaking to PEOPLE about her connection with Barefoot Wine, which is the official wine sponsor of the National Football League (NFL). “Well, I root for both of them no matter what,” she says. “In April, I check out their agenda, and based on that, I make a decision about what I’m going to do.”
In addition, she is not against the idea of going a considerable distance in order to make it happen.
She adds, “I definitely want to make an effort to go to those games if there are any that are held outside of the country.” “And if they happen to be home on the same day, then all I have to do is flip a coin, and I make it a point to attend eight of each of their games each and every year. That’s sort of how I deal with things like that.”
It may entail a lot of travel for Donna, but she wouldn’t have it any other way since both of her sons play professional football (Jason for the Philadelphia Eagles and Travis for the Kansas City Chiefs).
The woman who is a mother to two discloses, on the other hand, that she has not been able to spend the holidays at her own house ever since the time when her sons were still in college and playing sports.
“Ever since they were in college, we’ve always been on the road for Thanksgiving,” she adds. “It’s just become a tradition.” It’s possible that it happened in Cincinnati when they were attending the University of Cincinnati, or that we are now visiting one of their residences. Because of this, I’ve never spent Christmas or any other holiday at my own house preparing food. I mean, that’s the reality of being a mother in the National Football League. Because there is always work, you always have to go where the customers are.

And where does that leave her for Thanksgiving, considering all of this?
“That’s a really good question,” she replies to you. “I’m not entirely sure what Travis’ plans are, but I do know that I’ll be in Philadelphia because he has a game that Sunday in Philadelphia [a rematch of the Super Bowl game for both of her sons], so you can definitely count on me to be there for that game.”
And in the remote possibility that there may be an additional noteworthy female visitor at the Kelce table this year, Donna is prepared to welcome her.
“What a roller coaster ride. “That’s for sure,” she adds in reference to her own newfound recognition in the wake of the new relationship between Travis and Taylor Swift. “It’s a little bit out of the ordinary. At other moments, I get the impression that I’m on another planet entirely. I’m thinking to myself, “What on earth has happened to my life?”
She continues by saying, “However, it’s sort of fun. It is. It’s always a good time when you get noticed. The vast majority of people are quite courteous toward one another and extremely upbeat. The good news is that my lads have been having a lot of success on the pitch, so they are feeling quite good about it.
