*Warning: There Will Be Spoilers Ahead!

Tuesday night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars was titled “Monster Night,” and it was a celebration of Halloween in the form of a creepy, thrilling night of entertainment.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, along with special guest judge Niecy Nash-Betts, scored a slew of spooktacular showings during the new episode that aired on Tuesday. The nine remaining couples gave it their all in an effort to remain in the running for the Len Goodman Memorial Mirrorball Trophy.

After two hours of spooky skits and gruesome performances, it was up to the American public to vote on who they thought deserved to perform again the following week and who they thought should be eliminated in a horrific massacre.

In the end, a combination of the scores given by the judges and the votes cast by the public indicated that there were three couples who were in danger of being eliminated from the competition. These couples were Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater, and Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber.

In the end, despite the fact that Umansky and Slater were not at the bottom of the list, they were eliminated from the game; yet, they did not let their defeat get them down.

“It’s been so much fun, it’s been an incredible journey and was something I would have never done,” Umansky said of his time on the program.

Slater exclaimed, “It’s been amazing,” in response to the question about the significance of their cooperation. It felt like it truly meant a lot to us at a time, and it has been a tremendous gift for us throughout this time.

A modern routine choreographed to The Cranberries’ legendary song “Zombie” was performed by Jason Mraz and his pro partner Daniella Karagach during the first act of the episode of the show. It was one of the most memorable performances of the evening. The judges were so impressed with the couple’s outstanding performance that they awarded them a score of 36 out of a possible 40 points, giving them four scores of 9.

Not too much longer after that, Marvel star Xochitl Gomez and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, stepped out to increase the ante with their own modern routine, which was set to “Game of Survival” by Ruelle. They received three 9s and a 10 from Nash-Betts, which placed them at the top of the scoreboard with 37 out of 40.

Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov performed a seductive and dark Argentine tango to the accompaniment of an instrumental arrangement of Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy.” They came out with a passionate fire in their stride to pull off the dance. The perfect routine was awarded a total score of 37 out of 40 points, including three 9s and a 10 from Tonioli. Inaba was particularly impressed by the performance.

As for the remaining celebrity-professional pairings, the following is how the leaderboard stood after the airing of the newest show on Tuesday:
