It’s finally time for the Mean Girls reunion, and it’s going to be awesome.

After a gap of nine years, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese, and Rajiv Surendra reunited for the purpose of filming the newest advertisement for Walmart, which promotes the retailer’s enticing holiday sales.

The advertisement, which began airing on November 1st, depicts the return to North Shore High School of guidance counselor Cady Heron (Lohan), weather reporter Karen Smith (Seyfried), stage mom Gretchen Wieners (Chabert), proud dad Kevin Gnapoor (Surendra), and best friend Damian (Franzese). At the school, a new crew of It girls rule the halls.

“There are certain things that are constant. “We used to wear pink on Wednesdays, but now we shop the Black Friday deals at Walmart,” Cady adds as she watches Gretchen drive up in a convertible stuffed with Walmart shopping bags.

The commercial rewatches some of the most memorable and well-known moments from the film, such as Karen’s air-headed weather predictions and the famed “Jingle Bell Rock” performance, complete with hot Santa outfits to match.

“After all these years, it was wonderful to see each other again for the first time. When asked about her return to the set with her former castmates, Lohan told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that it was “fun catching up with everyone.”

Chabert adds, “It was wonderful to spend the day with Amanda and Lindsay, and it was so much fun getting to reminisce and be together again.” “It was so much fun getting to be together again,”

The sentiment was shared fully by Franzese. “It was wonderful getting to work with some of my long-lost pals on this latest Walmart ad. Being together in order to work on this campaign is a very incredible experience.

“What better time to get together than right before the holidays,” he says as an addition. “I know that all of us are thrilled for everyone else to find out what it is that we’ve been up to. Because Walmart made it possible for us to have a good time with one another while also giving us the chance to work on an exciting new project, the occasion was elevated to an extraordinary level. He makes a joke about how there is something for everyone here, with the exception of Gretchen Wieners.

Fans who just can’t get enough of the Mean Girls revival have more in store for them in the near future.

Beginning this week and continuing through the week leading up to Black Friday and on Cyber Monday, November 27, Walmart will be releasing a new advertisement starring the cast every Wednesday leading up to Black Friday. This implies that there will be more material as well as offers to look forward to.
